FAQ

What is your session format?

I offer a mix of in person and virtual sessions. My office for in person sessions is located in Salem, MA. For virtual sessions I use a HIPPA compliant video platform to meet clients. I am currently only able to meet with clients who are located in MA based on licensure.

What insurance do you accept?

I accept the following insurance plans in my practice: BCBS, United, Aetna, Optum, and Harvard Pilgrim

How much should I expect to pay for sessions?

If you have insurance from one of the above plans I am an “in network provider”. I would encourage you to call the members service number on the back of your insurance card and ask the following questions:

  1. What kind of coverage do I have for mental health care with a provider who is in network?

  2. Do I have an annual deductible I need to meet for mental health services before things are covered?

  3. What is my co-insurance amount? (copayment that you would pay at each session)

  4.  Is there a limit on the number of sessions my plan will cover per year?

How will I know if we are a “good fit”?

I offer a free 15 minute intro call where you can ask me any questions about how I practice or what it’s like to work with me. We can then both determine if it feels like your needs align with my skill set. I also like to view the therapeutic relationship as a collaborative, open space with ongoing communication where we can continue to check in on how treatment is going.
